Press Release: Greenerity – further expansion in the field of hydrogen technologies in the Alzenau area
Alzenau, December 14, 2022 - Greenerity GmbH, a subsidiary of the Japanese Toray Group, continues to expand and has moved into an additional location in Alzenau. The company, which was originally located in the Hanau Industrial Park Wolfgang, had already acquired an office and production building in the Alzenau South Industrial Area in 2019 and is currently expanding this location. Due to the rapidly increasing demand of the hydrogen markets, additional production capacities are needed in the short term.
The new building has a production area of over 3,000 m² and will expand capacity by adding another Gigawatt Factory in Alzenau-Nord. The additional site will enable Greenerity to drive and support further growth in the fuel cell and electrolysis market and will create further specialized and qualified jobs in an attractive future technology.
“Since the move we have created about 100 jobs in Alzenau and we feel comfortable being here. The ongoing expansion in Alzenau South and North will probably bring another 100 interesting jobs into the area in the years 2023 and 2024. Greenerity will contribute significantly to the establishment of a hydrogen based economy.”, commented the Management of Greenerity GmbH.

Greenerity – weitere Expansion im Bereich Wasserstofftechnologie im Alzenauer Raum
Alzenau, 14.12.2022 - Die Greenerity GmbH, ein Tochterunternehmen der japanischen Toray Group, expandiert weiter und hat einen zusätzlichen Standort in Alzenau bezogen. Das ursprünglich im Hanauer Industriepark Wolfgang angesiedelte Unternehmen hatte bereits 2019 im Alzenauer Industriegebiet Süd ein Gebäude mit Produktionshalle erworben und baut diesen Standort aktuell aus. Aufgrund der stark steigenden Nachfrage des Markts rund um das Thema Wasserstoff, werden kurzfristig weitere Produktionskapazitäten benötigt.
Das neue Gebäude hat eine Produktionsfläche von über 3.000 m² und wird die Kapazität durch eine weitere Gigawatt-Factory in Alzenau-Nord erweitern. Mit dem zusätzlichen Standort kann Greenerity das weitere Wachstum im Brennstoffzellen- und Elektrolyse-Markt vorantreiben und unterstützen und schafft weitere hochwertige Arbeitsplätze in einer attraktiven Zukunftstechnologie.
